A Productive Day

Got 2,388 words done (combined for High Tide and Hurricane Warning—I was in the mood to write Chiron’s confrontation scene with the Fates. I did mention that Hurricane Warning is his book, right?), and I think that’s it for the day. I still need to make dinner, and I’d really like to do some cleaning downstairs before I turn in for the night.

It helped that the temps were in the 70s all day and absolutely beautiful. It goes back up to the 80s tomorrow but that’s still quite nice after triple-digit hell. In fact, after I get all my writing work done tomorrow I may even go in the back yard and do some work on the fence (a couple of panels are drooping and we’re having problems opening the back gate, all things that can be fixed with a power drill and a handful of screws).

I also just found out that Barbie is available for rent on Amazon so I think I may kick off the weekend with that. I’ve seen enough reviews and snippets to know that I’ll enjoy it, and who knows, maybe even Ramón will join me for a viewing.

About Nicola Cameron

Nicola Cameron has had some interesting adventures in her life -- ask her sometime about dressing up as Tietania, Queen of the Bondage Fairies. When not writing, she wrangles cats, makes dolls of dubious and questionable identity, and thanks almighty Cthulhu that she doesn’t have to work for a major telecommunications company any more (because there’s BDSM, and then there’s just plain torture...).
